Summary
Tyland Lannister has already given everything to the realm.
Once Master of Coin to Aegon II and later Hand of the King to the boy Aegon III, Tyland survived war, shipwreck, torture, mutilation, and the ruin of his house before finally dying during the Winter Fever of 133 AC. He expects death to be the end.
Instead, Tyland awakens more than a century later as the firstborn son and heir of Tywin and Joanna Lannister.
Born in 262 AC, Tyland grows up in a Westeros both familiar and alien. The Targaryens still hold the Iron Throne, Dorne now belongs to the Seven Kingdoms, and House Lannister has become wealthier and more powerful than the family he remembers albeit at terrible costs.
