    Summary

They let the world believe the rivalry was real. It was. That was never the problem.

Twenty years, one Hall of Fame induction, and the hotel room neither of them ever talks about.

"Whole league finds out, is disaster," Ilya murmurs against his mouth. "Career disaster. Everything disaster." "Then stop." "Can't."

OR: A love story told in flashbacks and extracts from gossip columnists, its half hockey scandal and half twenty years of two men finally done pretending.
