Summary
Asagiri Gen has spent years hiding the fact that he's a Burnish.
He has a fiancé he loves, a life he’s built for himself, and a future he fully intends to share with Ishigami Senku. Then an incident involving Ukyo Saionji exposes his flames and lands him in prison.
Getting arrested wasn't exactly part of the plan.
Neither was meeting Lio Fotia.
What follows is a series of increasingly terrible decisions, questionable alliances, and far too much fire as Gen finds himself caught in the middle of the conflict between the Burnish and the people determined to destroy them.
And somewhere between being arrested, meeting the leader of the Mad Burnish, and watching his carefully planned future go up in flames, Gen discovers that his destiny might have been heading somewhere else all along.
