Odasuke is dead. With his last breath, he cut the chains Dazai had on that bound him to the dark. Bleeding, and grieving, Dazai flees to the only place that offers silence, Chuuya's underground wine cellar. Chuuya finds him broken on the floor. Wrapped in the cold scent of incoming rain, and old memories of those they knew, the two boys who grew up too fast to share a final, quiet, goodbye before the morning turned them into enemies.
