Summary
Freshly heartbroken Naim Reid learns that his last remaining grandparent is dying. Eager to get out of Bandee, he packs a suitcase, only to learn that his mother will be travelling alone. To his horror, her friend Cathy Whelan from church has offered to let Naim stay in her guestroom, until Arlene is back.
Ryan is trapped between the fear that his parents might find out about Naim and the desire to spend more time with him. To his utter confusion, Naim shows him the cold shoulder.
