Summary
This is an era wherein Royalty married amongst kin in belief that it kept the line pure. Where common folk would rather pray to unseen Gods than to trust medications to cleanse them of ill. Where knights believed themselves noble when they behead a peasant for simply tarnishing a merchant's silk.
And yet, when he claimed himself a Dragon in human skin, they dare dub him delusional. Incorrigible, the lot of them!
