   "He had a plan set, in case any of the Justice League or Waynes showed up at the office for a case. Neal would just discover he had food poisoning or the flu. Cases didn’t take that long to complete once the JLA was called in. A meeting about a case only lasted an hour or so. It would be fine. He hadn’t planned for one of them to become his fucking co-worker though. So, he sat stiffly in his seat, knowing that the end of the line was coming. Knowing that when Grayson saw him things would irrevocably change in his life. It felt a whole lot like being at the tip of a sword."
