"Do you remember the first time we did this?" Joshua asked, his voice barely audible.Jeonghan smiled, the expression evident in the way his touch softened even further. "I remember. You had just come back from the solo shoot, and you were so overstimulated that you couldn't even look at the lights in the room. You were vibrating with stress."
"I was a mess," Joshua chuckled, the sound muffled by the sofa cushion.
"You were," Jeonghan agreed, pressing a lingering, feather-light kiss to the top of Joshua’s head. "I didn't know what to do, so I just started brushing your hair. I figured if I couldn't fix the world for you, I could at least make your corner of it a little quieter."
Joshua felt a surge of affection so strong it made his chest ache. He turned his head slightly, nuzzling into Jeonghan’s palm, seeking more of that grounding contact. "You fixed it, though. You always fix it."
"I'm just doing my job, love,"
