He thinks, rather amicably if you ask him, that if either of the Johns in his life try to sell him on this bloody farce they're on again, he's going to drag them out into the shallows and feed them to the crabs. It feels appropriate, feels just, and considering Johnny hasn't said a word since they got into the car, he must feel just how genuine the threat lurking in the air is.
There's no snitch here, he refuses. This is the type of place the arms dealer they're hunting would waste their time, not some informant that John swore up and down would have what they needed. 'In his own way', he'd said, with a cheeky little grin on his face. Bastard. Made them drive two damn hours out to this place and isn't even bothering to stick around. Doesn't even bother to get out of the driver's seat, just gives them a little wave and promises to be back around by 1500, with the expectation that they've gotten whatever they're looking for.
The two of them look down the sandblasted steps to a pristine white beach, pocked with umbrellas and towels that each cost more than some of his nicer guns.
