In a world where omegas/alphas exist on relatively equal footing, the biological impacts were less about status and more about breeding. When breeding wasn’t the imperative sometimes mates didn’t serve traditional designation roles. The world was filled with alphas/omegas holding jobs side by side. Yes omegas were faster and yes alphas were stronger, but one without the other won’t survive. It was within these constraints the best hockey was played, and inside those arenas you found all flavors of alpha and omega. The mated players made up the majority of the Ottawa team now. And the unmated players were usually the ones going out after every game. We weren’t here for them though or hockey really. We were here to look in on the rivals turned mates five years post their mating and marriage.
