Summary
Feofan has never been fond of new beginnings.
So when a promotion forces him to move to a new city and a new apartment, the only thing he wants is to settle into a quiet routine and be left alone.
Unfortunately, his new upstairs neighbor has other plans.
Zandik is rude, strange, and apparently incapable of sleeping at night. Their first meeting ends badly, and their second isn't much better. Yet as December turns into January, their paths keep crossing first as reluctant neighbors, then as something neither of them expected.
Over the course of one winter, two people who could hardly stand each other slowly become friends, and perhaps something more.
But winter doesn't last forever.
And neither do some things.
