He would always care for him silently, doing things close to him and giving him small tasks and asking for suggestions to put his mind at ease without expecting him to actually talk. It was a silent way to make him feel useful without overworking him more.
But nothing of this was within his reach anymore. The pause for military service was happening right now and he didn’t know how to deal with it. How could he? The last thirteen years of his life was with them everyday. Of course he had his house and his things but he never actually had time to be there and feel alone because their schedule was so packed that he just was there for shower and sleep. Hell, he didn’t even ate by himself in so many years. He didn't know how to deal with the silence. All his breaks were either with friends or with his family, or with some of the boys. He never had time to actually be alone. His house was way too big for one person.
