“Joonghyuk-ah,” Kim Dokja said. “Isn’t it time for you to follow through with the divorce?”
“You—” Yoo Joonghyuk huffed, a weirdly hurt expression forming on his face. Kim Dokja can smell his displeasure easily from his pheromones. “Kim Dokja. How foolish can you be?”
Again, Yoo Joonghyuk didn’t seem to be willing to let him go. Was it because Kim Dokja had proved himself to be a useful cash cow? A pawn that Yoo Joonghyuk could keep by his side to bring him power until he’s left on his death bed?
Kim Dokja began to regret helping this bastard so much.
Yoo Joonghyuk swallowed, glaring off to the side. “That document. It’s gone.”
“What?” Kim Dokja blankly stared at him. Yoo Joonghyuk wasn’t one to be frivolous with any documents or belongings, especially ones of such importance.
As if he could read his thoughts, he continued. “It’s ripped. To shreds.”
