Summary
Marlo Hayes doesn't have great health insurance, a functioning left molar, or the money to fix either problem. What she has is Dr. Declan Webb, the only dentist in her network, and, inconveniently, the most attractive man she's ever had his hands in her mouth.
When a routine appointment turns into a bill she can't pay, Declan makes her an offer that has nothing to do with payment plans: three months, his house, his rules. No strings, he says. Just an arrangement. But Declan's house isn't like anyone else's. Every hallway, every room, watched, always. He says it's for safety. He doesn't say whose.
As the nights blur the lines between contract and something neither of them agreed to feel, Marlo starts asking the questions Declan doesn't want to answer. The closer she gets to him, the more she realizes, some men don't watch because they want control.
