   Summary

   Halsin is aware of Astarion's vampiric nature and has decided to welcome him anyway.

   Now, he has to figure out how to care for this deeply broken, deeply dangerous being. His experience with cornered beast is all he can rely on as he has to enforce daily the bedtime of an almighty entity whose tantrums could slaughter his entire circle.

   Astarion, torn between his need for affection and the instinctive distrust that protected him for so long, is just as clueless. This Druid Master is nothing like what Astarion can understand. What does he mean there is no kennel?

   It is urgent for Halsin to find the right balance between empathy and authority and just as urgent for Astarion to make sense of the former and find safety in the latter.
