“Next stop Makochi station” states the voice from the train. Miyu sighed and straightened up still groggy from her nap. She was heading to Makochi for a new start, away from her family. But she shouldn’t dwell too much on that.
The train stopped and Miyu stood up, grabbed her bags and left the station. Finally she thought, a perfect town to hide in. She smiled to herself and began walking passing by a large sign but not bothering to read the words.
Makochi was a lot different than what she expected. The people were happy and sharing delicious looking food. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to buy some of that bread over there.
She walked up to the stand, “hello 2 loafs of sweet bread please” she stated smiling.
”Ok that will be -yen” -(I don’t know how much to make it cost sorry)- the man explained grabbing the two loads of bread. “You are new here right?” The man asked while she counted out the money making her stop.
”Yes I am. How did you know?” She questioned. This could be bad she thought. If this guy called some thugs or something my cute outfit could be ruined and I could be found again…
“We don’t get a lot of new people often so it’s a nice change of pace plus you have baggage so I assumed you were moving somewhere” the man explained putting her bread in a bag.
Ohhhh she mentally face palmed of course she looked new she was carrying around her luggage. But still she let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank you” Miyu told the man then walked away. Now I just have to get to my apartment. As she walked she grew to enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the town. Which was quite odd for a town known for gangs.
Later….
This is it apartment 115. It is a nice respectable place very clean and tidy. It is a lot nicer than what Miyu had been staying in before.
She unpacked, putting her clothes and other items away it always pays to have a clean and tidy home, she thought. Once she was done she sat down at the kitchen counter and ate her sweet bread.
“Mmm this is delicious I will definitely have to go back and get more” Miyu exclaimed finishing her last bite.
Ok I’m bored Miyu thought after laying in bed for a bit. I should probably scout out the area. And I should find a fight ring to make more money from even though I’m well off for right now.
Before Miyu came to Makochi she had made money in other towns by fighting in underground fighting arenas before she was found and had to run away again.
She walked out of the apartment and began to wonder around town. That’s when she heard a commotion. There were a bunch of thugs with bats breaking windows and shouting for someone.
Miyu internally sighed in relief they weren’t looking for her plus there were only level one thugs so not too dangerous even with bats. But they are a danger to people who can’t fight.
“Damn guess I do have to fight today” she said. She ran to one of the thugs throwing a punch with her right arm knocking him out.
“Huh who’s this bitch” one of the thugs exclaimed pointing at her with a bat.
Just as Miyu prepared to respond another thug got knocked out. A boy with half black and half white hair worked his way through the thugs.
Hmmm he’s not too bad. She then moved with increasingly speed to kick the thug who called her bitch in the head knocking him out. “You should know not to look away from a fight” she stated standing over him before going after more thugs.
”Huh! Who the hell are you!?” The Oreo looking boy exclaimed punching down a thug then pointing a finger towards her.
“Help” Miyu responded running past him landing a hard kick to another thugs head.
As Miyu and Oreo boy worked through the group she noticed one of them has a female hostage. How dirty Miyu thought to herself.
The Oreo boy was over there in and instant kicking the thug then protecting the girl from other thugs.
With Oreo guy guarding the girl Miyu continues knocking down thugs. They are pretty easy to knock down she thought
She heard Oreo boy let out a grunt, the guy with a knife slashed his ankle and another went after him with a bat forcing Oreo boy and the girl into a corner.
Shit thought Miyu I can’t get over there in time he’s going to get hit in the head. Just then an older boy took the hit in the back like it was nothing.
Miyu was shocked he could tank that he then said something to the girl that made her happy. He just know her then that’s good.
The guy then elbowed the thug that swung the bat knocking him out cold. Three more guys wearing the same uniform as him walked up. Wait this is the Furin highschool uniform why are they helping out also I guess I’m meeting my classmates early thought Miyu.
Shark guy bent the metal bat. Damn that really impressive she thought looking at him. The other thugs seemed to know and fear him as well. He then yelled “Matsumoto, Kaji, Yanagida! Don’t you dare let a single one of em get past us or you’ll answer to me!” He yelled slamming the bat down.
Just like that they all rushed forward. Nice this will go by smoother. They other guys noticed her sure but they stuck to their job deciding to ask questions later.
Oreo boy how ever was having trouble moving with his ankle and just like that within a minute all the thugs were down.
Nice now I’m hungry she thought. Not paying any attention to her surrounding anymore other than hearing purged by Bofurin which made her a tad curious but her outfit inspection came first. She looked down to inspect her outfit she was wearing jeans with a casual navy blue shirt that compliments her black hair and creates a nice contrast to her red eyes. Yay it’s not too dirty thank goodness.
The towns people began to surround and thank the boys who showed up. Wow a lot of thanks me and Oreo guy get huh. Miyu thought a bit begrudgingly. She noticed Oreo guy was getting checked out by the girl he was protecting earlier he looked a bit distraught.
He than began a ran jumping over the crowd and yelling, “ That sounds awesome! I’m totally in!” Kicking down one more thug who got up. Again he’s impressive thought Miyu there are crow lot of interesting people here.
She began to walk away but the girl came up to her and grabbed her arm. Miyu stopped unfamiliar with the contact but all the same she turned to face the girl politely.
”I wanted to know your name you also helped quite a bit too before the other guys got here.” The girl stated she then told Miyu her name Kotoha Tachibana.
“I’m Nakumura Miyu” she told her with a smile. This girl seemed really nice she also had a good sense of style.
”It’s nice to meet you and thank you for the help. I work at the cafe over there” kotoha said pointing to cafe with a chalkboard out front and the top saying cafe Pothos. “You should come and get food if you’re not too busy.” She continued with a smile.
”Ahh thank you for the offer but I have to get home how about tomorrow I’d like to get to know you” she responded with smile.
”okay be safe then I better see you tomorrow then” Kotoha responded with a smile. And Miyu waved goodbye and walked off.
I think I’ll have fun here she thought to herself with a smile heading back home.
