Shane hesitated for a second, tapping his fingers on the edge of the sofa before finding the courage to ask him. "Would you like to meet Jackie tomorrow morning? I know we haven't seen each other in a long time and we'll have very little time tomorrow. I'd love to keep you all to myself, but... I would really love for you two to meet."
"Shane, of course I would," Ilya answered without a second's hesitation. "It's important to you and she's one of your best friends. I'd really love to meet her."
The smile that spread across Shane's face was instantaneous. "Really?"
"Really." Ilya smiled back at him.
"Perfect, then I'll text her later and ask if she wants to come over to my place tomorrow morning."
"Ok," Ilya replied as he grabbed a pair of socks.
