   Summary

   Bachira’s chest heaved softly with sobs. He tried to sync up his breathing with the sound of the breaking waves, but he was way too shaky to keep up. His crying and the cold kept his shivering from subsiding. He stayed anyway; it would be too painful to face him right now.
