Summary
Sniper is suspicious of the rookie scout's friendly behavior, surely he had ulterior motives. Scout grew up lonely despite his large family, his ADHD made him disliked by his family, teachers and peers. he wasn't abused perse but heavily excluded. He sees his own loneliness in sniper and feels compelled to try to give sniper something he desperately wants for himself, a true friend.
