Kim Iwol, 28, honestly thought he’d be in and out this hospital in about an hour, tops. Sure he threw up blood but that was probably just stress or something he ate—easily fixable with some meds. Maybe an IV if the Doctor is extra strict.

Not only was he rushed into surgery right after being told that he might end up staying in the hospital for at least two weeks, he woke up to this polite and formally dressed woman informing him that he was a Guide.
Before he even had the time to fret over missing so much work he was informed by said woman that he was required, by Law, to resign from his job and enter the Guide Service Corps of the National Military.
