2nd Anthesterion’s 13th, Xande I (2nd reign)

INTRODUCTION: Subject KIRIMU is an adult Mithra male of athletic physique which I thought would be much more impressive and below-average height. During combat in contested territory, it has exhibited preternatural acuity as reported by His Majesty himself. I must collect data to verify these claims. Temporary disablement of subject’s right eye, unusually white in contrast to the left, points to correlation that needs testing. If proven true, we may proceed with extraction.

PROCEDURES:

  1. A series of reflex tests were performed on the subject against lab-grown control to test the hypothesis of prescience. Subject’s eyes show normal rates of constriction and dilation when exposed to light and lack thereof, but follow movement in advance. The menace response appears overactive.

    NOTES: Before formal tests began, the subject turned its head toward the exact door from whence control was to be wheeled in a full decagnomon later and commented on the matter. Additionally, the subject responded with mockery to orders yet to be given with too much precision to be coincidental. Due to the vulgar nature of terms used, the words shall not be repeated here. Can this truly be what His Majesty is so taken with?

  2. Physical tests (detailed on page 2) confirm a reaction time that exceeds natural alertness or what can be attributed to combat experience, evading stressors well before appearance. Assistant’s clawed-off ear has been summarily re-attached after a foolish unarmored approach.

  3. Tests were later repeated in various states of sedation. Even at the highest dosage (detailed on page 3) the subject outperformed the control at full consciousness. Seizing the advantageous state, draconic scales were additionally extracted from the subject’s skin to take into further examination.

 

2nd Anthesterion’s 14th, Xande I (2nd reign)

  1. Following the conclusive findings from previous testing and full clearance from His Majesty, the preternatural eye (henceforth called HORASIS) has been surgically removed. As we had learned from step III, the subject required an unusually high dose before successful sedation was achieved. HORASIS is to be kept in a see-through vial of preservative fluids at all times, overseen by at least two personnel. So far, the artifact has been documented to move on its own in response to stimuli. Further testing needed to see if any power remains; if nothing else, we have neutered an enemy of the Empire.

 

 

2nd Anthesterion’s 15th, Xande I (2nd reign)

NOTES: The scheduled repeat tests without the eye have been postponed due to the subject’s disappearance. Full moron staff shall be investigated and any found guilty of rebel conspiracy or negligence will be prosecuted. As the silver lining, HORASIS remains in Imperial possession. How they managed to extract an entire catman but left untouched the only valuable part eludes me. If only this damned eye could peer into the past so I could strike them down myself.

This was much more jargony before I removed so much extra detail for my own sanity. It was also originally meant to be more logs but just the research for this one kind of killed me. I'll stick to normal prose from now on I hope
