   Summary

Aziraphale goes up to fix Heaven and finds there is nothing there to fix. Which leaves him with a question, and then with something worse: a hope.
Crowley stays down. Grief is not something you can drink your way out of; it might be something you can play your way through.
To get out, Aziraphale will have to stop being the sort of angel who walked into Heaven in the first place. To get through the months without him, Crowley will have to learn to lose.
Happy ending and more tenderness than either of them knows what to do with. It takes a while.
