Summary
HYDRA did not give her a name.
She was Trial 2,476, Batch 1,785, Embryo 23, the sole viable result of Project DYNASTY. Built around an altered super-soldier serum and a vibranium lattice woven through her developing body, Subject 23 was raised for one purpose:
The Winter Soldier.
For years, HYDRA froze them, woke them, wiped them, and began again, searching for a child capable of inheriting what had been done to them.
Then James Buchanan Barnes escaped.
Months later, HYDRA declared her newborn son another failure.
They never got the chance to take him.
Six years after Subject 23 disappeared into the Irish countryside carrying her child, she has a name, a home, and something dangerously close to a life.
Valeria has no intention of giving any of it back.
Then Natasha Romanov arrives with a recovered HYDRA file.
One of Valeria’s children survived.
She is fourteen years old.
And she has been living in Wakanda.
HYDRA wanted a dynasty.
What they created was a family.
