   Summary

   Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander are still getting used to being public about their relationship. When a russian lawyer shows up at the Ottowa Tire Centre, Ilya felt like the floor was going to drop out from under him. Everything was perfect...how could things go south now? What cursed logic was this?

   When he steps into the conference room, trying to hide the way his hands were shaking, he is surprised to find out that one of his old teammates has passed away and Ilya, of all people, was mentioned in his last will and testament. Not only that but, by law, he was now in charge of a 13-year-old girl. She was quiet and small and the hurt behind her eyes seemed to run deeper than grief over her parents death, so he vows to himself that he is going to try his best.

   When Shane finds her in their closet, clothed in Shanes hockey gear and Ilyas jersey while narrating to herself, or rather, HIMself, things change. How will the family adapt as more and more secrets come to light?
