Summary
Four months after the events at Starlight unraveled, Lucinda navigates getting her magic back. Everyone had recovered except her, well mostly everyone. She looses many things focusing so hard on her magic, an unexpected guest appears and gives her the one thing she wants most but at a cost.
Melissa struggles to find her place in the world after the loss of her parents and the traumatic events of Starlight. After Aaron left, she was left alone in a house she didn't recognize. She is left to deal with her family's business and the secrets left behind, but rumors spread leaving her to have give it up too.
They both lost and gained so much, including each other. But in processing their trauma and their relationships, someone slips by them and uproots everything they worked for.
How can they live in a world that is against them at every turn? How will they deal with people who just want them to suffer?
