Halmeoni gives him this close lipped smile, the kind he’d used to get when he was a kid and he’d get caught hiding his report card. Like she knows something he doesn’t yet. That the report card is stowed in the pot plant near the front door. That she’s already seen it. That Sieun, the snitch, told her where it was simply because she asked. Suho lets out a frustrated sigh, “I’m serious.”
