Summary
Reluctantly, Buck rolled over to his phone and pushed stop. He swung his legs over the bed and rubbed his eyes. He tried to remind himself that he loved his job, and that he’d get to see Chim and Hen and Eddie and Ravi and… not Bobby
Great it wasn’t even 7 a.m. and he was already thinking about Bobby.
This was gonna be a long day.
With a lot of luck (and a little bit of speeding) he made it to the fire house with 5 minutes to spare. He raced to the locker room and switched into his uniform.
There hadn’t been time to make coffee at home, so Buck jogged up the stairs, and made his way to the kitchen.
Not even two steps off the landing, he stopped dead in his tracks; because there, at the stovetop, was an all too familiar face. He must be hallucinating; because there was no possible way.
But there he was
Bobby.
----
Buck has not been dealing with Bobby's death leading him to be carless in the field. It catches up to him though, and now Buck must find his way out of another coma and back home to the people he loves.
a.k.a. I'm tired of this shit and the only way to fix it is a coma ig
