So he is being renamed. Ilya is a nice enough name, and he wasn’t particularly attached to the name his last alpha gave him anyway.

Or: Ilya is on his way to meet his new alpha owner. Shane is waiting for his university roommate to show up. Some flaky paint means that Ilya knocks on the wrong apartment. A misunderstanding occurs, in which Ilya thinks he is doing what he was purchased for, while Shane just thinks he has the best roommate ever.
