   Summary

Of all the things Ryland Grace expected when he returned to Earth with an Eridian delegation in tow, NASA asking him to pick up a lost astronaut from Mars wasn't one of them. Mark Watney definitely wasn't expecting to arrive at Schiaparelli Crater to find out that his lift home wasn't going to be the Hermes after all. Thrown together by circumstance and struggling to find their place in a world that seems foreign to both of them, two once-lost astronauts find common ground and hope for a future, together.
