Summary
The Pines brothers have embarked on the journey of a lifetime, hunting anomalies and treasures around the world. But if they want to keep living out their childhood dream, Stanford must first face the consequences of putting off a far less exciting task for decades: getting his research in order.
The solution seems simple enough: ask his old university for help and take on a new assistant capable of organizing more than thirty years’ worth of documents, specimens, maps, and anomalous objects.
But something is changing in Gravity Falls. New anomalies are beginning to appear where they shouldn’t, old mysteries are taking on unexpected meanings, and what seemed like a simple archival job will soon force them to confront questions neither of them was prepared to answer.
