Summary
“You wouldn’t have to choose anymore,” whispered Crowley. “Me or Heaven. Us or the Second Coming. You could have both. Isn’t that nice? Isn’t that perfect, angel?”
When Aziraphale discovers that the Metatron is dead/kidnapped/spirited away/otherwise not here, he decides it might be safer to perhaps...not disclose that information to the other archangels. Not right at this moment. Or ever, actually. But he can't stall forever. The Book of Life is missing too, and the culprit isn't shy about erasing everything, or everyone, he's ever loved.
A reimagining of the plot of Season 3.
