   Aleena is the worst Black Widow the red room had ever trained. That itself was a kind of twisted form of payback.

   Perhaps that's why Hydra chose her, she wasn't as much of a Black Widow as the other girls. She was still malleable, they could still mould her to their wants.

   They could make her the perfect sidekick to the Winter Soldier.
