Chapter Text
Olesya sat down across from Grace with a devilish grin. Grace sighed and pushed his lunch to the side. If she needed him, there was no use trying to get his meal in.
“I need you to be an English teacher.” She said, still smiling. Grace looked at her, puzzled.
“What?”
“Teach me English words.”
Grace was even more confused, but pulled out a notepad and pen (that he kept in his bag for some back-of-the-napkin math, duh.)
“Ooookay,” he said, “What do you want me to teach you?”
She paused at that, clearly thinking for the English term.
“Uh, the…L..G..” She was deep in thought, eyebrows knit as she combed through her brain. Grace could guess where this was going and put her out of her misery.
“LGBTQ?”
Her grin widened, and she pointed at him.
“Yes! Those words! Need to know the English terms.”
He laughed a little, and nodded.
“Alright, what words you need?”
“What’s the word for women having sex?”
Grace positively died laughing, earning a few odd looks from others in the cafeteria, including Stratt, who was seated at the same table. When he recovered, he grabbed his pen and scribbled on the notepad. He turned it to show Olesya.
“The word is lesbian, by the way.”
She threw her arms up in celebration.
“YES! Now I know what to say when my annoying coworker flirts with me.”
Grace cackled once more, and Olesya joined in. Soon, their laughter was bouncing off the walls of the cafeteria and they couldn’t give two craps what the others thought of them.
