"Mr. Perry, results show your son has Crohn's Disease" the doctor informed.
Neil looked up in surprise. He'd never heard a doctor validate his experiences with an actual term before.
Of course, though, the moment didn't last long.
"That's ridiculous" Thomas said coldly. "My son is fine, he just wants attention"
"Mr. Perry, it's imperative that you-"
"We're done here" Thomas cut him off, standing. "Come on, Neil"
Neil took one last miserable look at the doctor as his father led him out of the room.
Maybe one day he'd be able to get proper treatment for his condition.
But not today.
