Euijoo has to take a deep breath, squinting against final desperate rays of light to really see: he looks like himself, like before, well-dressed and handsome, always, but something in his demeanor is on the verge of cracking open—he can’t meet Euijoo’s eyes when he says, “I didn’t know where else to go.”
