Chapter Text
Ocean stepped forward, gazing into the dazzling blue light of the portal. Her heart pounded, she had no idea what awaited them beyond death, but she took a deep breath and stepped forward, but was stopped just before going through, Constance had taken her hand.
"Together. We'll all go together." She stated, with more confidence than Ocean expected from her, but she nodded and looked to her left, holding out her other hand for Noel, who rolled his eyes and somewhat reluctantly took it. He then turned to Mischa, who gave him a reassuring smile and extended his hand. Ricky then offered his hand to Constance, who looked to Ocean "Ready?" Ocean nodded.
"Ready."
The choir stepped through the portal, blue mist swirling around them as the warehouse behind them seemed to fade to white unitl all that surrounded them was light and the other members, and then in one quick flicker, black.

They woke up in a feild sown with small yellow flowers, Ocean was the first to wake, immediately shaking Constance awake "Connie! Where are we? Are you okay?"
Constance sleepily opened her eyes "Huh?" she muttered "I don't—" Ocean was looking at her, worried. Constance smiled in a small attempt to reassure her "I'm okay." Ocean seemed to look slightly releaved and helped her up. Before walking over to where the other three were laid.
She nudged Noel. "Wake up." He did, surprisingly fast, and immediately ignored her, when he saw Mischa hadn't yet.
"Mischa?" He asked shaking him awake "Are you alright?" He groggily opened his eyes.
"Що? What?" He rubbed his eyes in an attempt to clear his vision "Yeah."
Meanwhile Constance was asking Ricky if he could still walk okay, and given that he was still able to answer without signing, it was a yes.
Ocean, having made sure everyone was awake, immediately took charge "Okay gang! Does anyone have any idea where we are?"
Noel rolled his eyes "Yes Ocean, we just walked through a portal to the afterlife of course we know exactly where we are."
Ocean ignored him and continued "Well I'm sure we'll find somewhere, can anyone see somewhere people might be?"
Ricky pointed to something in the distance "There are power lines over there," he shrugged "there might be a road near them or something, and if not there'll be something nearby."
Ocean nodded "Great work Ricky!" she replied, a little too enthusiastically "Lets go then!" and she started off ahead, along the path that surrounded the feild, Constance followed close behind, whilst Ricky, Noel and Mischa walked behind.
"And we're immediately back to the old Ocean" Noel sighed "At least she asked if we were okay, that's a first."
Ricky laughed "She even let someone else imput their opinion."
Noel faked a gasp "Unheard of."
Ocean glared at him "Rude, I can hear you guys." But they could see she was smiling, at least bickering with Noel was familiar, it had been a crazy couple of hours, they had died after all.
Mischa responded jokingly "I'm glad, that was the idea."
"Mhm," Noel smirked "It's good to see your horrible personality getting better" Ocean responded with a scowl trying to hide her laugh, and continued onwards, chatting to Constance.
They were walking for what seemed like barely any time, distracted by their two conversations - and the occasional squabbling between Ocean and Noel - before they reached an empty highway, with what looked like a busy town on the other side. So they crossed over, and after walking for a few minutes, were left with a building that they recognised, Ocean's house.
"This is… Uranium."
