Chapter Text
The light from the fire lit 8-Bit's face, the warmth emitting and heating him up slightly. Ocho moved some of the wood around before stepping back to admire their work. He turned
around to flash 8-Bit a grin.
"Pretty good, right?" 8-Bit stared at the fire with an unamused expression and shrugged, folding his arms. Ocho shot him a slightly annoyed look and walked over to sit next to them on the fallen tree. The two sat in silence, staring at the fire, with the only noise being the wood burning.
8-Bit played with the dagger in his sleeve again, biting his bottom lip nervously. He could do it right now if he wanted to. They were in the middle of nowhere, no one would see or hear. If he buried Ocho's body well enough, hell, everyone would probably think he ran off. There's already believable reasons why he would. Now would he make it quick? Or take his time? Show Ocho how much they ruined his life. His grip tightened on the handle. Everything was ruined by him. They know it's been two years since but it still pissed him off. If that bastard never moved here (if he was never alive) then none of this would've happened! The hierarchy would still be standing and everything would've been as it should!
8-Bit was brought out of his thoughts with the feeling of Ocho's head leaning on their shoulder, his hand grabbing their own. Ocho's hands were so smooth. 8-Bit hated how his were rough. Ocho lifted his head to press a kiss on 8-Bit's shoulder before scooting to lay his head on 8-Bit's lap.
Well, maybe not tonight.
8-Bit internally sighed and quietly slipped the dagger out to place it on the ground before taking off his jacket. They draped it over Ocho's body, noticing the small smile that crept on its face. Ocho's hand moved to grab 8-Bit's left hand, the one that previously held the dagger and held it before closing his eyes.
