Everything changed when the Breakout happened. Mysterious electromagnetic waves, chaos forces, broke out of the Deca Tower, killing and injuring many people. After that, it all went to hell. These chaotic forces spread from Inkopolis to the Splatlands, and with them came corruption and death. The chaos apocalypse is here.
A ragtag team of an Inkling, an Octoling, and a mutant wander the Splatlands. Victoria, Xavier, and Galax. They are Team Galaxy, and they are headed to Splatsville, the city of chaos. These three have each been affected by the apocalypse, and are determined to stop it, no matter what.
Even if the mysterious Chaos Lord has gained a tyrannical grip over Splatsville. Team Galaxy can defeat him, right?

Hearing a loud crunch from below him, Gloves lifted one foot off the ground. Looking down, he found a squished flower bud in the imprint on the dirt; its petals had long since withered and decayed. Trying to nudge it aside only made the flower clung to the edges of his shoe.
Staring at the ground longer, there were an awful lot of dead flowers all around. Probably because it's an abandoned garden. What did he expect?
