Belated entry for Sylvix Weekend 2026 | DAY 1: Summertime

Please ignore the facts that I'm 3 months late and that we're in September. It's technically still summer and still super hot outside as I post this.

An illustration of Felix and Sylvain from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, in a modern AU. On a bright day at the beach, Sylvain and Felix are spending the day together, laying under a teal sunshade in swinsuits. Sylvain is laying on his back, relaxed, touching Felix's bicep. Felix is above him, propping himself up on his arm and grabbing a sunscreen tube in his other hand. Around them are scattered an novel, a phone and an open cooler full of drinks. There's red frame around the illustration with "Summertime." written on the bottom right.

i spent way too much time drawing this stupid book cover so now you will look at it!!

thanks to audrey for the idea of making sylvain read a dense historical novel (I'm thinking he's reading The Wolf Lord by A. Duran) that he's hiding behind the paper slip cover of the rauchiest filth he could find to keep up the fratboy persona. And yes, he's read Seducing the Duke before.

based on a collection of filthy looking espionage novels i always see in secondhand bookstores in France (the collection is called "SAS") 😌

"SAS" stands for "Son Altesse Sérénissime" (His Serene Highness in English)

Knowing that this Sylvix Weekend might be the last ship week before a while with Fortune's Weave coming out soon, it really motivatated me to draw for it!! Hopefully I'll manage to (finally) complete the entire event before Sept 17 😤
