   Summary

   After six months of almosts, Mary Bennet and Tom Hayward are finally together.

   As summer ends and autumn begins, Mary and Tom begin the strange, exhilarating business of being a couple, and she begins to discover that love isn't something she has to earn by becoming someone else.
   Elsewhere, Will Ryder is beginning to realise that Caroline Bingley likes him. The problem is that he may be starting to realise he likes her too. He's just going to need rather a lot of help figuring that out.
