Summary
Izuku midoriya needs to get away from his family situation after his deadbeat father comes back wanting a relationship after years of absence and neglect. As he considers his options, he is reccomended a position as a fire lookout at a national park. Seeing this as an opportunity to get away and also earn some cash on the side, he drops his retail job and runs to the forests.
Katsuki Bakugo is troubled, his fuse is short and he needs the harmony of nature to balance out his fiery temper. His friend Kirishima offers him a spot to work as a fire lookout at a national park his family managed. Katsuki reluctantly takes it, needing to get away from Fashion college drama.
Soon the two young men start communicating through radio, discussing everything from the mundane to the strange and difficult. All without seeing one another.
(I was watching funkyfrogbaits Fears to fathom Ironbark Lookout play through and thought about twink towers. Then I remembered their Firewatch play through. So yeah I'm feeling a bit inspired)
