    It was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. A grand cruise across open waters, organized by a cheerful Danish captain to celebrate a hard-won continental peace. Vash didn’t even want to come; he packed a pistol "just in case" and fully intended to spend the trip ignoring his fellow European diplomats.

    But the illusion of peace dies on the very first morning—when someone is served for breakfast.
