“After I got back to the hotel yesterday, I went straight to sleep! That's all there is to it!"
Akito shouted at the crowd in front of him. Now he knew his statement was slightly untrue, but the details weren’t important at the moment. He cast a glance over to Toya by his side, hoping the other got the message to remove a certain event from his statement.
“…Yeah. I can vouch for that, since we were sharing a room." Toya spoke out, visibly taking notice of Akito's red face, his own adorning a similar tint.
Akito took a moment of relief, mind flashing back to the events that unfolded in that hotel.
Akito threw his jacket off onto the floor, a loud groan escaping his mouth. Half-hazardly tossing his shoes at the corner of the door. He basically faceplanted on the white sheets of the hotel bed, savoring the semi-soft mattress after being on his feet all day.
Toya, a few feet to his left, did practically the same thing in a less dramatic manner.
“I’m tired as fuck, man.” Akito grumbled, voice muffled by the comforter of the bed.
“Mmm.” Toya hummed in agreement, already beginning to drag his feet around Akito’s bed to the window to close the curtains. “I hope Shiraishi and Azusawa are doing al-“ Toya suddenly cut himself off.
Akito turned his head off the mattress to look at his partner, looking just in time to see the other clamp a hand over his own eyes.
Right. Toya had clearly forgotten they were on the 5th story of the hotel.
“You okay, dude?” Akito called out, begrudgingly pushing himself up, taking a few steps towards the other. He didn’t want to coddle him, yet he knew how bad the other’s fear could get.
“Yes. The building is firmly on the ground, so that means I’m firmly on the ground.” Toya stated, nodding at his own sentence as he tried to get himself to believe it. He then used his free hand to yank the curtains closed.
Toya turned back around, looking triumphant, and Akito could feel a smile creep onto his face. ‘God, he’s so fucking cute.’
As Toya was making his way back to his own bed, a conveniently placed luggage caught his foot, causing the boy to trip forwards. He slammed directly into Akito, sending them both toppling onto the ground. Akito let out a surprised huff as the other landed atop him.
Akito’s eyes met the gray of Toya’s, face growing red as fuck. Their faces were mere inches apart, he could see Toya’s face shift into a silent question. Akito nodded near instantly.
Toya didn’t waste a moment to surge forward as Akito’s hand tangled itself in the back of his hair. The other’s lips were soft against his, warm. A soft satisfaction shifted in Akito. For some reason it took him this long to realize his partner felt the same. Every gaze held a moment too long, every small moment together that felt like the world to him, all leading up to this moment, Toya’s lips pressed against his.
He let his eyes slip shut and slightly opened his mouth. An embarrassingly high groan left his mouth as Toya’s tongue slid against his.
He didn’t resist Toya's hand sliding under the back of his head, forcing their mouths closer together. His partner still tasted slightly of coffee, something signature to him.
The thought stayed with him as Toya’s tongue explored his mouth, a drop of salvia dripping down the side of Akito’s face. Coffee always had reminded him of Toya, its smell, the warmth it brought, and now its taste. He pressed his tongue against Toya’s, a desperate hum escaping Toya’s lips as he breathed into Akito’s mouth.
Toya shifted to where he was practically sitting on top of Akito, knees straddling his waist. Calloused fingers from years of violin cupped Akito’s face, sliding against his jaw like they always belonged there.
Akito cracked his eyes open as Toya pulled back to breathe. The other’s stormy eyes were half lidded with desire, resting on his partner like he was the most important thing in the world, and Akito couldn’t deny he felt the same about the other.
After a moment, Toya seemed to snap out of his lust filled mindset, his face flushed up to his ears as he took in how he was atop his partner, saliva coating both of their mouths.
He slumped forward, face slotting into the crook of Akito’s neck, visibly embarrassed. The ginger laughed, bringing his arms around the boy, now beginning to realize the hotel flooring was not at all comfortable to lay on.
“We gotta get up.” Akito smiled, using his elbows to prop himself up, bringing Toya with him. “We can shower in the morning, let’s just get to bed.”
Toya groaned, but pushed himself up, removing himself from Akito’s lap, wiping his face with the back of his hand.
“Gross.” He muttered but didn’t resist as he assisted Akito up, trudging over to one of the two beds. He flopped himself down, pulling Akito on top of him.
Their bodies slotted almost perfectly together, Akito had to admit it was comfortable laying on his partner, he was like one giant 5 foot 10 pillow, that just happened to love him back. Toya reached to flick off the lamp next to them, blanketing the room in a peaceful darkness.
Akito felt those familiar soft lips press into the top of his head, arms encircling his body.
“Akito, I love you.” Toya was blunt, as he normally was but Akito could hear the affection placed perfectly behind each word.
“I love you too.”
So now, if all that happened, how could he have been the one to vandalize the warehouse??? The keychain found there was his, yes, it was far too important to him to deny that, but there was no other evidence to prove it, and Toya clearly knew that too. He exhaled sharply, trying to keep some of his cool in front of the crowd accusing him.
Of course all this happened right after he finally was able to make his singing partner his actual boyfriend.
Fuck.
