Summary
Subaru is hardly without his flaws—loud, obnoxious, reckless and incapable of reading a room to save his skin. And Emilia, for all her virtues, has a few rough edges of her own, too.
The difference is that Subaru can shamelessly wear his shortcomings on his sleeve, while Emilia can’t seem to take the same pride in her own. So, when she can’t seem to appreciate those parts of herself, it’s up to Subaru and his stubbornness to do some of the loving for her.
She just hasn’t realized that somewhere along the way, she’s started doing the same for him.
