   Summary

   When Koray opens his eyes he is -

   - on the roof of the Vault, a crimson sunset around him, Haurchefant's voice ringing stridently in his horns as aether surges in his veins -

   - in a darkened city, the sharp scent of ozone filling his lungs, surrounded by strangers who all seem to know him and are very concerned.

   The problem being, he's already been to the Vault. He knows how this ends.

   The problem being, he has no idea where he is or who these people are.

   Or,

   An overload of aether swaps Koray from his confrontation with Calyx to the worst day of his life. That side of the exchange isn't so bad. Koray at least knows what's going to happen. It's the other side that is concerning.
