   Summary

   Emily had given Andy a set of keys. To her apartment. Keys to her apartment. Purposefully. Willingly. Happily. Excitedly. 

    

   She was 40-something and had been nervous to give Andy the keys. Its just that it felt so silly. This thing between them wasn’t new but it also wasn’t old. So Emily wasn’t sure how Andy would take the whole thing. 

    

   But, Emily had reasoned, it was practically necessary at this point. Totally within reason. After a year of newfound friendship and four months of officially dating, it just made sense. That way, Emily justified, she wouldn’t have to pause cooking, or helping the kids with their homework, or reading in bed, or putting on her makeup, or finishing work, just to let Andy in. Efficient. Very efficient.
