-Yandere!Jafar with his Darling
-Yandere!Jafar isn’t the type to fall in love, but rather to covet his Darling as a prize or a source of amusement. His perspective of his Darling changes depending on his mood
-He’s not about to marry his darling unless that’s what puts him in a better position of power. If his Darling does not possess renown, authority, power, or status, he wouldn’t dare to legally bind himself to such a lowly creature. But Allah forbid his Darling attempt to distance themself from him
-He craves control, and his Darling is where most of these intense feelings are directed. More so if he worms his way into a position of power, such as Sultan, where he possesses more say on what he is or is not allowed to do to or with his Darling. This is also true when he’s the most powerful sorcerer or a genie
-Yandere!Jafar may be taken aback by his Darling’s beauty, but it’s more likely his Darling’s low status and powerlessness or his Darling’s high status and power are what draw him in. He’d seek to attach himself to a Darling with status and power, and then use his own to strip his Darling down to what he wishes them to be. Or, he'd feel compelled toward a lowly Darling because they'd be what he'd want them to be already, and unable to push back against him
-His Darling is a pet, a plaything, a doll to dress up and spoil one moment, then have them crawling towards him as he lounges on the throne to sit at his feet. “A precious thing you are,” he coos, lifting his -Darling's chin with his forefingers. “Precious, indeed…”
-Manipulative to a T. Yandere!Jafar weaves honeyed words in his Darling’s ear, convincing them they’re above the riff-raff and that a treasure as sweet as them has ensnared his heart. When they initially show signs of disgust or suspicion, he will not hesitate to instill doubts about how the world wishes to harm his Darling. This is how he gains his Darling’s trust enough to have them coming to him for fear of the wider world. Once he’s got them wrapped around his finger, he’ll widdle away their confidence, and eventually their self-esteem. Yandere!Jafar will convince his Darling that their safety and worth are tied to whether or not they choose to stay close to him
-Yandere!Jafar isolates his Darling. He'd convince them their loved ones are poor influences and that his Darling is better off with him. If this doesn't work, Yandere!Jafar will take immediate measures to remove these people- permanently- and claim they, too, were part of the wider world that seeks to harm his Darling.
-Once he has his Darling close, he’ll become passive-aggressive. Complimenting, comforting, or praising his Darling, then delivering underhanded remarks. Yandere!Jafar has a keen eye for the weaknesses of others, and he’ll know just what to say or do to bring his Darling down to the level he wants them. He wants his Darling subservient and pliable. Any feistiness his Darling shows from time to time amuses him, but he’s quick to put out the flame
-As an all-powerful sorcerer or genie, Yandere!Jafar is far more cruel and abusive. His Darling is further reduced to a plaything. He’d torment and humiliate his Darling for sheer amusement, and after he’s had his fun he’d remove any memory of what occurred so he can witness his Darling’s reactions to pain and pleasure all over again
-His Darling is his slave- in body, mind, and soul
