Work Text:
A small form stood in front of the window, his back to Trotsky. Only the outline of him was visible against the bright window. He turned his head to face the figure who had just arrived. "What are you doing here..." His gaze fell down to the weapon in Trotsky's hand. "You really will betray me like this, won't you?" In that moment, Trotsky heard a faint whisper of fear in the voice of the man of steel. "You're the one who betrayed the revolution, Koba! I am saving the Soviet Union!" Stalin let out a barking laugh despite himself. "Always so melodramatic, weren't you? I'm simply... taking your place in the revolution. Oh yes, I'll be a generalissimo!" Stalin pulled out a handgun of his own, aiming at Trotsky. "Why do you want what I have instead of simply your own place?" "Oh, you're mistaken," said Stalin, "I don't just want what you have, I want to be you!" Trotsky's blue eyes widened slightly. "You will never be me. Why not have me instead?" "Oh, I'm not a homosexual!" Trotsky smirked in that annoyingly hot manner of his. "We could go on walks, holding hands... In a completely heterosexual way. Hug, cuddle, and kiss, but in a straight way. Commit acts of gay sex, but in a straight way. We could even... get married, but in a completely straight, heterosexual way, not gay at all." Stalin blushed. "Oh... we should do that, yes..."
