Starscream, lying on the floor while leaning against the corner of the room, thought to himself as he watches his Energon levels slowly plummet, promising him an agonizingly slow death, that also seemed too soon to be true.Before, when he had just gotten banished, It had been years of scavenging, months of despairing, weeks of starving, and now...
Now he only had mere hours. Not that he could care. He stopped caring a week ago, maybe even a month ago. But he used to care. He did, just not anymore.
Starscream gives up and slowly reaches his demise... Until Megatron rips him off from the clutches of death. Starscream, of course, has a problem with that.

Megatron lives again. The Decepticons are no more. No reason to stick around and let Optimus lord his victory over him. Megatron heads for the stars and leaves the reborn Cybertron behind.

Summary
Megatron has spent millennia learning how to hurt Optimus Prime.
He knows where to strike, how hard to hit, and exactly how much force it takes to bring a Prime to his knees. What he does not expect is for one shattered piece of armour to reveal something neither of them knew was there, or for his first instinct upon discovering it to belong not to Megatron, but to the miner who once knew Orion Pax better than anyone.
Because beneath the Matrix and the scars, Orion is still there.
And beneath all of Megatron's rage, D-16 remembers him.

Summary
"Optimus resets his vocalizer and says, "Ba-weep-graagh-weep-ni-ni-bong."
But they do not respond to the universal greeting. And when Optimus attempts to sit up, he finds that steel bars across his chest and limbs are holding him down.
The voices around him grow more frantic. Then there's an electric shock right to exposed spinal wiring at the back of his neck. Optimus jolts, crying out in pain.
The surface damage in his diagnostic report had failed to tell him that these creatures has already started to disassemble him.
Optimus tries again. "Greetings friends, I mean you no harm—"
That earns him an even stronger shock. Optimus convulses, vocalizer glitching and visual field shorting out. He slumps in his bonds, completely limp."

After crash landing on Earth, Optimus and Megatron as captured by a shadowy human organization and kept prisoner. Forced to endure cruel experimentation and starvation, the pair must become allies in order to escape. They might even find more comfort in each other's presence than they anticipated.
