"Ow."
John held back a worried sigh; he knew Sherlock wasn't too injured, was being dramatic, but he still didn't like seeing him hurt.
He finished bandaging him up and sat back. "All done."
"Hmmm."
"What?"
"You missed something," Sherlock said.
"What?" John couldn't think of anything he missed.
"You're a doctor, you should know." He raised an eyebrow at him.
John could only stare at his friend. He had no clue what Sherlock was talking about.
Sherlock huffed, glancing away.
"Sherlock-"
"You need to kiss it better."
John blinked. He would've expected eyeballs in a pickle jar over being asked that.
"You need to-"
John lifted Sherlock's arm, placing a delicate kiss over the bandage. "Better?"
"No," he said, pink growing on his cheeks.
John raised an eyebrow.
"My knuckles are scraped."
John gently kissed Sherlock's hands. Both of them, just in case. "Better?"
Sherlock shook his head.
"Where now?"
Sherlock touched one finger to his lips, eyes flicking to John's and away. Rare nerves showing.
He leaned closer and tapped Sherlock's lips.
He sucked in a breath.
"Here?"
"Yes."
John kissed him. Right on the lips.
"I need more evidence. Do it again."
He did. Then, once more.
